EverFi Sexual Violence and Alcohol & Drug Prevention Online Education

Update on July 12, 2021: All students should now have access to EverFi courses. If you are still unable to access the courses or now have multiple Sexual Assault Prevention or AlcoholEDU courses assigned, please contact Title IX Coordinator Alexandra Fulcher ( for assistance.

In our commitment to a safe, welcoming and respectful campus environment, Oxy requires all incoming students to complete two online education programs through EverFi before arriving on campus.

They are interactive online courses that address the interconnected issues of substance abuse, hookup culture, sexual violence and healthy relationships through a variety of interactive, realistic scenarios and guided self-reflection.

Please note: if you are concerned about your ability to complete the sexual violence prevention module, please contact Oxy’s confidential survivor advocate at to discuss opt-out support as well as on- and off-campus resources. The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Prevention module is mandatory for all students.

In order to enroll in the fall semester, students must complete the course by Friday, August 6, 2021.
