EverFi Sexual Violence and Alcohol & Drug Prevention Online Education
In our commitment to a safe, welcoming and respectful campus environment, Oxy requires all incoming students to complete two online education programs through EverFi before the start of Orientation.
They are interactive online courses that address the interconnected issues of substance abuse, hookup culture, sexual violence and healthy relationships through a variety of interactive, realistic scenarios and guided self-reflection.
Please note: if you are concerned about your ability to complete the sexual violence prevention module, please contact Oxy’s confidential survivor advocate, Marianne Frapwell at email@example.com to discuss opt-out support as well as on- and off-campus resources. The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Prevention module is mandatory for all students.
In order to enroll in the fall semester, students must complete the course by Friday, August 7, 2020.
Accessing the Course
All students will receive an email with a link to access the online education program in early July.
At first login, click “Forgot Password?” to set up your account.
If you do not receive the email, visit the EverFi website, select “Forgot Password?” and enter your Oxy email address. A confirmation email will then be sent to your Oxy email with a link for the courses. Please set aside approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours to complete the two courses.
You will need a computer with internet capabilities and Flash Player for the course. If you are unable to access a computer with the necessary features prior to the deadline, please contact the Title IX Coordinator Andrea Fulcher at (323) 259-1338 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
